Men,

As the Chairman of your new MKP-USA Council, I am reaching out to all the men within our new MKP-USA Region, established in February 2010 at the Annual Meetings in Glen Ivy.

After two years of MKP working with Alumni Consulting Teams from the Stanford Business School, the Council has voted to support their recommendations aimed at improving the viability of our organization and our financial structure. We believe the two most important are:

  • Develop much better communications with our members, and
  • Develop a membership program to better financially support our mission

The MKP-USA Council and I are working hard to enhance communication. We have started a blog at http://usa.mkp.org, which will provide you with much more information about what we’re doing. We want and encourage your feedback on what we do that does and does not work in your Centers. Shortly we will add a forum to the blog to help facilitate that dialogue. To achieve the second recommendation we are asking for your help by requesting an annual membership contribution of $50. Membership is the central financial foundation of virtually all fraternal organizations, and of many nonprofits. This is the next step of needed foundational work to live our mission and create a lasting legacy for future generations.

This is your organization! Simply put, we can’t do this without you. We are building something incredible. As your Chairman, and as your Council, we pledge to remain focused, conscious, intentional, and proactive so this organization thrives for years to come.

Join us as members of MKP-USA by contributing via credit card on our secure server.

Also, we invite you to consider becoming a Charter Lifetime Member for a one-time contribution of $1,000 or $1,200 for a couple (spouse or partner). We are grateful to the substantial number of men who opted for this approach even before we announced it publicly.

With excitement and gratitude,

David Bauerly
